Soooo expensive for me however worth every penny and now its worked into my budget to buy it, a few weeks ago we ran out and used a normal hot chocolate mix but it was trash. This has 100% ruined the regular stuff for me

Soma Cacao is cacao paste rather than a pre-prepared powder, so it behaves a little differently when making a drink. Cacao paste contains the whole cacao bean, including both the cacao solids and the naturally occurring cacao butter, which is what gives it its rich, creamy texture and full-bodied flavour.
Because it isn’t a powdered instant mix, it does need to be melted into hot liquid and blended, whisked or frothed to create the smoothest result. We understand that this may not suit everyone, especially if you were hoping for something that simply stirs in quickly.

Soloman Islands Cacao is by far my favourite ceremonial cacao! It tastes volcanically smoky, doesn't give me a headache like some of the others strains and has a profound heart opening!
